Record Description | Stray find. White patinated flint barb and tanged arrowpoint, Conygar Hill Type -2400-1500BC. (Green 1984). Condition perfect except for small impact damage to the point. Found in molehill on thin turf covered limestone pavement during a Univ of Leeds Extra Mural training survey exercise lead by Mrs Colleen Batey in the 1990's.
Deposited in the Richmond Museum.

Additional Notes | Stray flint or chert arrowpoints may be found almost anywhere but most commonly on limestone soils where molehills are frequent (and the prehistoric scrub woodland was more open).
